RESIDENTIAL DEMOTION PROJECT
ReLocation: Minneapolis, MN
The demolition project included surveying for ACM and other regulated materials. ACM identified within the structure included pipe wrap, boiler wrap and linoleum. Following the abatement of the ACM, air clearance monitoring was performed to determine if the work areas were at airborne asbestos dust levels acceptable for re-occupancy. RESIDENTIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Location: St. Cloud, MN

Plans for the subject property included demolition of the existing structure and transferring ownership of the property to Habitat for Humanity for the construction of a new single-family house.
A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment conducted at the subject site revealed unsealed domestic well/s, the previous use of fuel oil and an outhouse at the subject site. Additionally, soil and groundwater contamination exists at a facility in the vicinity of the subject property. Recommendations were provided to the client to assist in the management of the project in regards to the recognized environmental conditions identified at the subject site.
Asbestos-containing material (ACM) was identified at the subject site and was abated prior to the demolition of the structure. Abating the ACM prior to demolition of the structure will allow the demolition debris to be managed as non-ACM material, which will minimize/reduce the disposal costs of the material.
